Mark Beaver spent sixteen years in restaurants, most recently as a general manager, and he can tell you exactly what it cost: every major holiday, and most of the moments in between. He is building Truewell Water Filtration to get those back.
The trades were always in the picture. His dad ran his own construction business, and Mark spent summers riding along on jobs, making a little money and finding out he liked the part most people dread, talking to homeowners and meeting new people. His dad steered him away from taking it over, because the work left him too tired for weekends. Mark took that warning seriously, and he is building this one differently on purpose.
Sixteen years of restaurants taught him something he did not expect to bring into a trade. He learned how people look at the service industry, how much it changes someone's day to be genuinely helped when they need it, and how to keep his composure with people who are not at their best. In a business where most homeowners have no real way to judge what they are being sold, that matters more than anything technical.
The health side of this is not a sales angle for him. A few years ago, around the time his daughter was born, his wife's health took a turn nobody could fully explain, and it changed what his household pays attention to. Clean water is one piece of that, and it is a piece a family can actually do something about.
So what Mark wants Truewell to be is straightforward. He will walk you through what your home actually needs, explain what each option does and does not do, and leave the decision with you. If a smaller system is the right answer, that is the one he will tell you to buy.
